The Giriyondo Tourist Access Facility has been opened to the public. It’s the biggest bet on regional cooperation in eco tourism since it links the Limpopo National Park in Mozambique and the Kruger National Park in South Africa. President Mugabe is quoted to have said
“The opening of the Giriyondo Access Facility demonstrates that partnerships are fundamental to the success of the whole Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park project even as it moves us closer to realising our goal of effectively using wildlife management to fight poverty among our people,”
I hope the pulling down of fences for eccological development is bound to help both the nations.
