It sure will be if the reefs can not be sustained! Coral reefs may not be able to survive the various stressors and changes related with global warming. As an example take on Florida’s coral reef which is deteriorating due to rising temperatures.
We can help in a small way by carrying out the following.
1) Become conscience of energy needs , try to use renewable power.
2) Go by car pools, use energy efficient cars.
3) Avoid destroying reefs (anchoring your boat near them, touching them during diving, hitting them with swim flippers), and polluting reef waters.
4) Support local efforts to clean up wastewater or upgrade sewage treatment facilities.
