
When we talk about Penguins, a picture automatically comes to our mind of a soft and small flightless birds that encourages us to embrace them. Most of the species of penguins reside at the poles.Therefore, it is too tough for a common traveler to see these beautiful creatures.
Then how can one fulfill this desire? Here, we are going to acquaint you with some of the penguins’ species, which are easily accessible. The African Penguin, also known as the Jackass Penguin and the Blackfooted Penguin, is found between the Namibia and Algoa Bay, near Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
African Penguins grow to 68-70 cm tall and weigh between 2 and 4 kilograms, which are quite small, as compared to the penguins of Antarctica. They have a black stripe and black spots on the chest, the spots being unique for every penguina almost like human fingerprints.
And the good thing about these penguins is that they are able to acclimatize in warm weather conditions. These penguins allow you to see them from one-meter distance, and to catch them on camera.
