The Professional Hunters Association (PHA) has backed calls for the Northern Territory to defy Canberra and introduce safari hunting of crocodiles. They just do not seem to be able to get over their need to hunt! Even after Environment Minister Ian Campbell refused them.
PHA spokesman Kevin Gleeson says
‘ I don’t think there’s any damage to be done,” “I mean we legally take 600 a year and we’ve been over this story a hundred times but the method of take would be the same and we’d return a lot more money to the landholders.”
